You were too humble to mention that yo...Hey, Girl,
You were too humble to mention that you and your Tribe were school-wives and now Neal is the boss ... which makes YOU the boss' wife. And, yes, it will be harder from here on out. There are fewer wives at your "level". Housing will be more separate (that does mean better quarters!), and you may find that you are the "older women". Sorry, but it's the sad truth. Look around. Isn't the average wife-age in the 20's now. Kansas was like college, and this is like .... well, life. You can reach out to some of those young wives and help them transition to being more than 20 miles from home for the first time.

The good news is that the Tribe will forever be your Tribe. You will exchange email, FB messages and Christmas cards for life. Someday, E will go thru your address book and send letters to those who are left to tell them that you are not. But wherever you live, the Tribe will be in your heart, and thanks to social networking, on your screen.

It will also get easier when E is in all-day school, where he will meet more kids and you will meet more parents.

You'll soon find a group - not a replacement, but something new. It sounds like you've found a good church, so maybe that's a place to start looking for the part-time working moms or the stay-at-home-moms and then look for some working moms, too, or even non-moms. (They might have more time!) And, you might even find an old lady or two... Your schedule will get more flexible, too, next year.

You are one of the most creative and strong people i know. It's a tough time, but you will get there.
It's only been three months, and even PA will get better.

I know Jane misses you, but find a 14-year old, so you can have some date nights, too. See you SOON!webbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168174623602308906noreply@blogger.com
